Gemmological Portrait

Gemstones of exceptional quality deserve more than just a gemmological report from our laboratory. Therefore, for the most outstanding gemstones examined in our lab, we provide additional information that highlights the gemstone’s rarity and quality, going beyond a purely scientific analysis. Gemstones that receive such supplementary information sometimes exhibit extraordinary characteristics that surprise even our most experienced experts.

For such gemstones, the gemmological laboratory has developed the Gemmological Portrait: a bespoke book, meticulously compiled and written to do justice to these exceptional gems. For a gemstone to be awarded such a Gemmological Portrait, it requires the unanimous approval of all experienced gemmologists in our laboratory, as well as adherence to a set of strict quality criteria. A maximum of four copies of this book are issued per gemstone.
